Automotive lightweight

From an overall foreign perspective, after analyzing the United States, Japan, Europe, and South Korea, they all know that they all have a clear development target and route. For example, the development goal of lightweight vehicles in the United States is 20 years to reduce weight by 20% on the basis of 13 years, 25% to reduce weight by 30%, this is the goal of lightweight vehicles. In response to this goal, it has divided the entire composition system, from its entire body system, the weight is reduced by 35%, the chassis is reduced by 25%, and the powertrain is 15%.

Drawing on foreign technology, we can explore the development route of lightweight body technology in China.

1. Short-term

Objectives: Increase the application ratio of rigid-strength steel and ultra-high-strength steel, reasonably reduce the thickness of steel plates, and widely apply advanced forming technology and linking technology to achieve the expected lightweight goal.

Ways: adopt high-strength steel, ultra-high-strength steel, engineering plastics, appropriate application of magnesium aluminum alloy and composite materials, optimize the design of body structure parameters, thickness and shape of Ouhuang steel plate, shape and size, widely use laser welding, hot forming process and advanced Connection technology.


2. Mid-term

Objective: To master the characteristics and connection technology of aluminum-magnesium alloys, composite materials, structure-material-performance integration, lightweight and multi-objective collaborative optimization design methods, and the gap between the required and foreign technical levels.

Path: Expand the application proportion of aluminum-magnesium alloys and composite materials on the car body, the number of parts, optimize the design of aluminum-magnesium alloy and fiber-reinforced composite parts structure according to the material performance, and give full play to the performance advantages of the material itself.


3. Long-term

Objective: Gradually master the characteristics of carbon fiber composite materials, component design methods, efficient manufacturing processes, performance control methods and connection technologies, and gradually surpass the level of automobile lightweight technology in developed countries in the automotive industry.

Approach: Skilled in applying the design, manufacturing and connection technology of steel and aluminum hybrid body, and gradually master the structural design of carbon fiber composite parts. Efficient manufacturing, performance control and connection technology to expand the application proportion of carbon fiber composite materials in automobile.
